| DNA Wanted The RUNCIMAN Surnames DNA Project would love to hear from any DNA tested descendants of the attached lineages in particular.
Direct male line RUNCIMAN (or variant surname) for yDNA testing (at least 37 markers but preferably 67)
Any descendant for autosomal DNA testing: FamilyTreeDNA's FamilyFinder test, ancestry or 23andme's DNA test, provided the results can be compared at GEDMatch.com

| England and Wales 1939 Register Analysis Part 2: by Surname Surnames are as indexed apart from alternate names* having been removed.
They are as yet unchecked as to indexing veracity!
* the 1939 Register has many additions to the original data, usually subsequent names for women, which are shown in brackets after the original name.
This summary takes no account of whether the Runciman variant is likely to be a birth or married name.

| Time estimates for matching Lineage 1 trees as at Apr 2017 The attached image is a screenshot from yFull.com (Apr 2017) and shows the branching within the previously assigned "terminal SNP" of I_Y22033 when we only had four BigY tests, one from each line.
With two additional BigY DNA tests, one from Lineage 1a and one from lineage 1d, yFull created the two sub branches shown.
ybp = years before present where present = 1950
It is expected that with another representative from either or each of Lineage 1b and 1c, that a futher sub branch would be created.
